Just wondering, Can 6/3 teck 90 cable be run on the surface of a dwelling unit and can it be buried without mechanical protection.
Want to use it for a outdoor hot tub and it
is easier to install than nmwu
    Appreciate any comments

    TECK 90 is permitted for-
    1. exposed wiring where exposed to the weather, 2. direct earth burial (with protection as required by inspection authority). (Table 19)

I would recommend a PVC sleeve where it emerges from the ground for mechanical protection, and follow Table 53 for burial depth.

    Hope this helps.
